day 2.
The next morning, most of us still loved to cover ourselves under the blanket. We were so tired but we had to get ready because we were going to Prambanan Temple and Ratu Boko Temple. It took about.. 7 hours trip from Purbalingga to Prambanan Temple. Before we left, we were amazed by the view of mount Slamet, because Purbalingga lies at the foot of mount Slamet.
Oh, we found something interesting along our way. You see, there are many artificial things in Purbalingga. Artificial hair, artificial eyelashes, even artificial nails! So, when we passed Banyumas, there were so many signs labeled "original". Original food, original chips, original snacks, and so on, and so on. The driver made a joke about this saying, "Well, everything is original here, nothing is artificial.." Hahaha, get it? no? okay...
We spent about 3 hours in Prambanan and we lost our time to eat at Raminten, a famous place in Yogyakarta. So, we just headed to Malioboro to go shopping! But, I didn't. I didn't feel like spending my money at Malioboro that night because I have spent my money at Malioboro last year. Yeah, we went to Malioboro too last year. So, Ifa and I just went to Malioboro Mall instead. We were craving KFC cream soup since we were stopped at KM 57 rest area. So, we went there, to the food court, and we were just talking about stuffs and eating our cream soup, finally :D

After a loong journey, passing through cities, rice fields, forests, and alternative roads, we arrived at Prambanan Temple! Yeay! I remembered the first time I went to Prambanan. It was about 6 years ago. I was on the school trip, and we came after the earthquake tragedy where most of the temple collapsed and we were not allowed to enter the temple. So, we just took pictures and.. yeah, just took pictures and left.
And 6 years later, well, there's no change, the collapsed temples still there, but the bigger temples were opened and we were allowed to enter. There is one risky temple, Temple Shiva, and only.. was it 20 or 50 were allowed to enter? heh, I don't remember. We were also had to use helmet while we were in the temple Shiva.
hell yeah! we were reconstructing the temple! lol |
Ifa planned to go back to her house at Kebumen and I already planned to stay a couple more days at Yogyakarta to have my own holiday. So both of us did not go back to Depok with the group. Ifa's friend picked her up, and Retno, my neighbor who has moved and now lives in Yogya picked me up. I said goodbye to some of my friends (because some of them were still shopping), and headed to Retno's house. :D
